Compatibility with CVSNT

If you have CVSNT installed, the installer for Visual Assist may hang when it tries to copy VAssist.dll to the installation directory or when it tries to register Visual Assist with Visual Studio.

Workaround the problem by renaming the CVSNT file u3dapi10.dll, and restarting the installation of Visual Assist. After installation, restore u3dapi10.dll to its original name.
