Current Line (VAX) or VAssistX missing from IDE options

Visual Studio 2008 and 2005

If  "Current Line (VAX)" or the "VAssistX" entries are missing from the Fonts and Colors node of the options dialog of Visual Studio 2008 or 2005, restore the entries with these steps:

Exit all instances of your IDE.
 
For Visual Studio 2008, delete this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\FontAndColors\Cache\
 
For Visual Studio 2005, delete this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\FontAndColors\Cache\
 
Restart the IDE.
